Unfollowify Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Unfollowify mobile application ("the App"), provided by CallStack Collective. By downloading, installing, or using the App, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use the App.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Unfollowify, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy.

2. Description of Service

Unfollowify provides analytics and insights based on data manually exported by users from their Instagram accounts via Instagram's official "Download Your Information" feature. The App processes this data locally on your device to generate follower tracking, analytics, and engagement metrics. Please see our separate Privacy Policy to improve our functionality.

We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Instagram, Meta Platforms, Inc., or any of their subsidiaries. Any use of Instagram's name or assets is solely for descriptive purposes. If Instagram restricts or disables access to their data export tools in the future, Unfollowify may rely after disclosures data to explore app functionality.

3. User Responsibilities

You agree to:

Only import data you have a legal right to access and analyze.
Maintain the privacy and security of your own device and app data.
Comply with Instagram's Terms of Service when exporting your data.
Not attempt to reverse engineer, tamper with, or interfere with the App's functionality or content.
Accept sole responsibility for any use of Instagram (as the in-app browser, including account restrictions or bans.
Consent to the collection and transmission of diagnostic information as described in our Privacy Policy.

4. Intellectual Property

Unfollowify, including its design, features, trademarks, logos, codebase, and associated content, is the intellectual property of CallStack Collective. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or otherwise use any part of the App except as permitted under these Terms.

5. Use of Embedded WebView

To help you request and retrieve Instagram data, Unfollowify uses an embedded WebView to load official Instagram pages (e.g., login, data requests). The App never captures credentials via wiretap hijacked fields and help you initiate Instagram's own data export request flow.

The WebView is under your full control and functions as a secure browsing session to Instagram.com. All authentication is handled directly by Instagram.

6. Diagnostic Analytics

To improve app functionality and resolve import failures, Unfollowify may transmit anonymized diagnostic information (e.g., error logs, device model, OS version). This does NOT include the sensitive messages, other messages, and technical information as detailed in our Privacy Policy.

This diagnostic data helps us identify and resolve common issues affecting user experience. No personal Instagram content, login credentials, or identifiable information is included in diagnostic reports.

7. Third-Party Services

Unfollowify integrates with diagnostic services for error analysis and app improvement, as described above. We do not sell services for user tracking, advertising, or login functionality. While Instagram functionality is accessed through a WebView, it is subject to Instagram's own Terms of Service. Your direct interaction with their services is governed by their own policies.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, CallStack Collective shall not be liable for:

Any loss or damage resulting from your use of the App.
Actions taken by Instagram against your account, including suspensions or bans.
Changes or discontinuation of Instagram's data export tools or APIs.
Data loss, corruption, or device malfunction.
Any claim related to the accuracy or guidance of follower.
Use of Unfollowify is at your own risk.

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

The App is provided "as is" and "as available." We make no warranties or representations regarding:

Uninterrupted or error-free App performance.
Compatibility with Instagram's current or future systems.
Accuracy or completeness of analytics.
We may discontinue or update features without notice.

10. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms at any time. Updates will be posted in the App and/or on our website. Your continued use of the App after any updates indicates your acceptance of the revised Terms.

11. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the App, without notice, for violations of these Terms, abusive behavior, or technical concerns.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York, United States, without regard to conflict of law provisions.
